Engineers Without Borders
Selected as one of EWB-USA's Premier Chapters for 2008
The University of Pittsburgh chapter of Engineers Without Borders (EWB) was established in the spring of 2006 by a handful of students wising to apply their skills and resources and give to those in great need. EWB-PITT was recognized as an official student organization and chapter of EWB-USA in the spring of 2007. Today the group continues to grow and expand their reach with the guidance of the local Pittsburgh Professional Chapter. The chapter is in the midst of their first major project in Mali, Africa.
